Richard B. Tomlinson

Troy, Michigan

I offer a unique perspective, in that I represent both employers and executive level employees in a wide variety of employment law issues and litigation.  For employers, obtaining sound legal advice prior to taking action can protect a business from costly litigation expenses down the road.  I offer assistance and consultation with respect to hiring and termination practices and the vast array of state and federal laws, regulations, and rules which affect a business.  For executive level employees, I can assist you in negotiating and structuring your employment agreement, advise you with respect to a severance package, or represent you in pursuing employment law claims in state or federal court.

I also have over thirty years experience in litigating complex business and contract disputes.  I have developed substantial expertise in representing both principals and manufacturer's representatives in cases involving the termination of the manufacturer's representative.
