Mr. Thomas received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1980 and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from Georgetown University in 1982. He is licensed to practice in Michigan, the District of Columbia and North Carolina.

Mr. Thomas specializes in business and real estate law, along with estate and trust tax planning. He is counsel to several local, national and international businesses. Mr. Thomas has extensive experience with contract work including transactional agreements, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, sales, leasing, sophisticated asset protection and estate planning techniques.
